SIETAR Switzerland Congress
Some of the Migration SIG members along with colleagues from the University of Burgundy presented a workshop at the recent SIETAR Switzerland Congress in Lugano. The workshop drew an attendance of 44 and we had a lively and informative discussion.
The agenda was as follows:
- Cultural Awareness Training for Migrants – A case study of the situation in Dijon, France. A presentation by students of the MA in Intercultural Management at the University of Burgundy
- Short presentation by workshop attendees on training for migrants and those working with migrants
- Participants experimented with diversophy® Nouveaux Repères, a French migration card deck inspired by diversophy® New Horizons
- Discussion and wrap-up
